In the afternoon session, activities were conducted, Pitching Start-up competition and hackathon. The activities were fun and we learn a lot from it. During the Pitching Start- up competition, we were divided into 5 groups with each mentor in it. My other classmates joined the hackathon. During the Pitching competition, I was really nervous because I am not yet ready for pitching. After the pitching by group, the mentor will choose only 2 best ideas/Pitchers from the group. After the groupings, there are 10 students who were selected during the groupings. They will going to pitch in front for 3 minutes with a PowerPoint presentation and and 3 minutes for the Question and Answer portion. After the top 10 pitchers pitch, the judges selected the top 3 winners. Also, they announced all groups who joined the hackathon.

MAJOR PAPER
September 7 – 11, 2015
Seminar Overview

Fieldtrip and Seminar is a subject in our curriculum wherein students with 3rd Year Standing are allowed to enroll.  At first, we were given the chance to choose which model we want to have and majority of us chose the model A which is comprised of 1 seminar, 1 minor fieldtrip inside Mindanao and 1 major fieldtrip outside Mindanao. We had Maynilad Tours & Educational Services Inc. to help us arrange our appointments for the companies that we chose for our major fieldtrip in Metro Manila which is set on September 7-11, 2015. They arranged our schedule and gave us our final itinerary. We will be attending a lot of seminars that are connected to our course and will be visiting companies that are using IT technologies.

For our first day, we will be visiting DOST at Bicutan, Taguig in the morning and after lunch we will be visiting the Social Security System located at East Avenua, Quezon City. For the second day, we will be visiting the IBM Philippines at Ayala Techno-Hub, Quezon City then we will be visiting The Accenture Inc. in the afternoon, we will be having our dinner at the Great eastern Hotel in Makati City. On our third day, we are scheduled to attend the Y4IT convention/seminar at SMX, MOA. We will have our shopping and mall in the afternoon, we will be given a meal allowance so that we can have our own dinner, no need to gather. On our fourth day, we will be visiting the MMDA Traffic engineering located EDSA, Makati City. After lunch, we will be visiting the People's Park, Tagaytay City then we will proceed to the Enchanted Kingdom to have fun. On our fifth day, we will be visiting the UP department of Computer Science, UP, Quezon City and shopping in the afternoon before going back to Davao.

Day 1

On our first day, our flight to Manila was 6:15 in the morning so we were expected to be the airport two hours before. I slept early before that day so that I can wake up early to with enough sleep. Most of us are first timers to ride a plane, so most of them are very excited to their first plane ride. Another reason why I slept early that day because starting day 1, it will be full of enjoyments and trips up to day 5 and again we will be staying at Manila so we should always travel early to avoid heavy traffics. I arrived at the airport at almost 5 o'clock in the morning, together with my classmates. It such an amazing experience where you can ride a plane together with your classmates. When we finally arrived at Ninoy International Airport III, I thank God because all of us were safe and sound. I was really happy that day. We were welcomed by our travel agency which is the Maynilad Travel and Educational Tours. We ate our breakfast at Mcdonalds beside the Airport so we can eat our breakfast early and to get ready for our first company visit, DOST, in Bicutan, Taguig.
Today, I went on a seminar to..
On our first day, on our Itinerary, we will be visiting two companies. The first company that we visited was the DOST or the Department of Science and Technology located at Bicutan, Taguig, and after lunch  we will be attending a seminar to the Social Security System or the SSS located at East Avenue, Quezon City.
What I learned?
I learned many things during our seminar in DOST and in SSS. In DOST, I learned about the project NOAH. The speaker in DOST shared to us a presentation about project NOAH and the problems of nature we are encountering every day. He showed how it works and he also presented some developments and the updated project NOAH. On the other hand, I learned many things in SSS on how they are protecting the files and information of their clients. They also shared about what SSS do and how do they do it.
What I liked?
I like the DOST company simply because they introduced us formally and discussed to us important information that we, students must know. I also like DOST because it also known as the home of the National Scientist. The speaker is not boring and the best thing about him is that he can also speaks bisaya. They also shared to us about what the current issues they are facing today and on how we can greatly help them by developing or constructing innovative and creative ideas.
On the other hand, I like SSS because their company was very clean and they also introduced us formally. I like the way they accommodated us even. They prepared and simple and interesting presentation to us and they will give a prize, a SSS color gold pen, to those who can answer their questions about their presentation. I like their discussion because it was all about how they handle all of the files of their clients. They also discussed the security of their files. It was really nice back there and I also like their huge building.
What I didn’t like?
What I didn't like in DOST is that the presentation and the discussion was a bit fast and short. Though the speaker discussed to us the important things we must know connected to our course, he didn't explain it very well because the time was limited.

On the other hand, I didn't like in SSS or the Social Security System is that speaker was very lousy and he speaks with a very slow voice seems like he don't want to tackle his discussions.
Day 2
On the second day of our Field Trip and Seminar, We will be visiting two companies, The IBM Philippines located at Ayala Techno-hub, Quezon City, and The Accenture Inc. at Libis, Quezon City. We stayed at Kabayan Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. We should wake up early to avoid traffic and so that we can get to our destination on time. We ate our breakfast early and prepared ourselves for the company visit. We wore business attire that day because we will be visiting a company with professionals. I was very excited that day because I really want to go to IBM since my High school days. I consider myself a very lucky person that day because we will be going at the IBM Philippines company, together with my classmates.
Today, I went on a seminar to...
On our Itinerary, we will be visiting the IBM Philippines and The Accenture Inc. on the second day. We went to IBM Philippines to learn about the new innovations and topics that are related to our course. We also went to the Accenture Inc. to take a tour to their company and to learn important things about innovations that will change the future into a better place.

What I learned?

In IBM, I learned about the cloud technology and some information about the Internet of things. The speaker in IBM shared about the things about cloud technology. He showed demos and some works using the cloud technology. On the other hand, I learned many things in Accenture Inc... They shared about their mobile application they are developing and how do they change the future into a better place.
What I liked?
I like IBM Philippines because they presented a great presentation and demo using the new innovation, the Cloud, and the speaker also shared his invention using the Cloud. I like IBM Philippines so much and I really want to work there.
On the other hand, I like Accenture Inc. because their host and speaker are not boring and I really enjoyed their presentation and games. They also shared about the mobile application that they developing. It was really nice back there.
What I didn’t like?
I didn't like IBM because we waited a long time to get in. I don't like in Y4IT because it very crowded there and our time was only limited
Day 3
On the third day of our Field Trip and Seminar, It's another day to wake up early and get ready for the next trip/seminar. We ate our delicious breakfast early and prepare ourselves for our next trip. On our itinerary, we will be attending the Y4IT convention/seminar           at SMX, MOA and we will have our shopping in the afternoon.
Today, I went on a seminar to
We attended the Y4IT convention/seminar at SMX, MOA. They are so many students like us joined the seminar it's like all of the IT students all over the Philippines. Our facilitator, Sir Randy S. Gamboa, was one of the speakers during the seminar and we are so proud to be his students. There is a speaker who shared about the science fictions that are created nowadays. There are also games and prizes back there.

What I learned?
On this seminar I learned a lot from the speakers who presented on our day 3 in manila. Each speaker has a good presentation they shared to us what they have learned and their knowledge with their field. With what I have learned to Rhea that it is not a big deal if you are a disabled person but as long as you could still works and your mind works their nothing more impossible as long as you are passionate with what are you doing everything will be possible just believe in yourself this what I have learned to the speaker from Microsoft. I learned also about him of being passionate with what are you doing and just believe in yourself to dream big and make a way to achieve it. Throughout the seminar I learned that you must be passionate with what are you doing because just like them I think I could be successful in different ways. Imagine. Innovate. Inspire.
What I liked?
What I liked on this seminar was the speakers they invited were amazing. They are very good on their field that helps us and broaden our knowledge in the I.T matter. I liked also that they had a raffle time which makes us all excited with their prizes because it was not simple they giveaways speakers, a laptop and other exciting prizes. They make us excited when they announce the starting numbers and make us more active. Though no one of our group was chosen yet we still happy.
What I didn’t like?
I don’t like their free merienda.
Day 4
On the fourth day of our Field Trip and Seminar, this is one of my most awaited day. We will be visiting             the MMDA Traffic Engineering, at EDSA, Makati City and We will be having a lot of fun in Enchanted Kingdom in the afternoon. Yehey! I can't wait to go to Enchanted Kingdom that day because it was my first time to go there.

Today, I went on a seminar to

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority in Mandaluyong as our last company tour. Before we went to MMDA we had our breakfast at Kabayan hotel and we check-out.  We arrive at MMDA around 9:00 am in the morning and they brought us to their Communication and Command Center. They gave us a ID They welcome us and offer us a seat. There are 3 persons welcome us and they start the lecture after introducing their self. They show us their different functions of the monitor hang on the wall. There are for weather forecasting, which it shows the current weather during that day. There is also some monitors capturing the roads situation with their CCTV cameras located in different area. After they have a short discussion regarding their operation and the history of MMDA flood and risk reduction center they show us a sample videos that they captured on the road accidents.  After our lecture we went to their shake rattle and learn center which is they let us to experience what it feels when experiencing an earthquake and what to do when you are on that situation. After having our MMDA tour we went directly to NAIA Terminal 3 to check-in our baggage before we fly to Davao. We had our lunch inside the airport and wait until our flight schedule called. When we already in the airplane , we experienced traffic it was funny to hear but it’s true after almost an hour delay we take off around 5 pm and landed at Davao around 6 pm and we went home .
What I learned?
I have learned that we should follow the rules in the road and be alert because if not we never knows it may be the end of our life.
What I liked?
I like it when the MMDA the way they welcome us. I liked also the person who lead the presentation because he is informative and not boring when he discuss. The speaker discussed the information briefly and clearly.
I had so much fun in Enchanted Kingdom. Super! It was really great back there. I wish we could go back there for one time even though I forgot to bring extra clothes.

What I didn’t like?

I didn’t like only is there CCTV monitors are limited only and small. I don’t like also the place because it was too small.
Day 5
On the fifth day of our Field Trip and Seminar, we will be visiting the UP Department of Computer Science located in Quezon City. We woke up early and ate our breakfast. Fifth day was also the last day of our trip to manila.

APPENDIX
What can I recommend for the improvement of the advance seminar program of USEP?

I recommend to those who would take Major Field trip in the future that they lessen the number of company to visit and extend the time for the seminars offered by the companies. I also recommend that they request for Certificate of Attendance for every company to serve as credentials in resumes.

My advised top those who will take their advance seminar program in the near future.

I advise that the students who will take FTS to research ahead of time with regards to the backgrounds on the companies to be visited in order for them to prepare questions to ask and also the students must prepare all of needed documents as early as possible.

Paper 3 (Team Building)

Last July 20, 2015, I and my classmates who are enrolled in the subject Field Trip and Seminar are required to join a Team building for us to have a better relationship to our other classmates, to improve our team dynamics, building trust to each other, facilitating communication, and to have a better teamwork. This activity also helps us to improve our interpersonal relation and social interaction. We are divided into 2 batches. The first batch had their Team Building program in the University Social Hall while the second batch will had their Team Building Program in the other University of Southeastern Philippines Dorm located besides the University Dome. I woke up early to get ready because our first Team Building Program will start at exactly 8:00am in the morning. I don’t want to be late on our first Team Building activity. I don’t want to miss a single activity because I know that this activity will give us a lot of knowledge in terms of developing our relationship towards our classmates. I was really curious that day because it was my first time to attend a Team Building. I was really expecting that we will be having different kinds of activities together with my classmates and we will be having so many games that improves teamwork.

After entering in the University Social Hall, I immediately signed in for attendance then the staffs gave me an Identification card or Name card. Later on, the program started. Our Team Building Program was facilitated by Ms. Emily P. Madrona, Director of the UGTO of the University. We started the activity with a prayer and by singing the Philippine National Anthem. After that, the facilitator introduced herself to us. She started discussing about what will be our activity for that day then the facilitator asks us to form a group of five so we counted off by five. I thought that we are the one who will choose our group mates. If we are to choose our own group mates I will be choosing my close friends because I am comfortable when I am with them. After forming a group of five, we are asks to form a circle together with my group mates and introduce ourselves to each other, in other words, make friends. That was our first task. Our second task is to answer the given question by writing the answer on a manila paper. The first question was “What will be our Contribution on our activity for the whole day?” we combined our ideas and thoughts to create a better answer. Most of my teammates are shy. Next, the third task is to draw a face on what weare feeling that day. I and my teammates felt comfortable that day so we decided to draw a face with a comfortable feeling. After answering and doing all the questions we posted it where everybody can see it. The facilitator read each or our answers and all of us were listening. Some groups had hilarious and pleasant answers. I and my teammates continued on sharing about their selves in order to develop our social interaction and interpersonal relation. After the first session of the program we proceeded to the next activity. The next activity was entitled “I am Me”. I learned that each of us was created unique and different from other people. I also learned that we should respect each other’s differences, weaknesses, and strengths. We have different kinds of talents, likes, dislikes, and etc. I learned that we should be proud of ourselves because we are created special. I learned more about myself and more about my classmate. I learned that there is no one exactly like me. I shared some things about myself to my new friends.

After the “I am Me” Activity, we had given a task to draw a dinner table where my family members are represented by shapes, things or symbols. This activity will help us to know better our classmates. First, each of us was given a piece of paper to draw and our facilitator, together with the staffs, distributed the coloring materials to make our drawing a bit more beautiful. I love to draw because drawing enables me to express my inner feelings. All of us started to draw our dinner table. We enjoyed in drawing and coloring our dinner table. After we finished drawing our dinner table we are grouped by 3 members to share our drawings to them and to explain the representations. My name of my group mates was Gene and Murphy. I was the first one to share my dinner table. First, I represented my father as a happy face because my father taught me to enjoy life and to think positive always. He told me that we should choose to be happy always. My father always tell funny stories, jokes, and other hilarious things. My father is a happy person. Second, I represented my mother as a beautiful crown because my mother is the queen of our family. I always wanted to see my mother happy because her smile sweeps all of our inner pains. Mother knows best. I really love my mother. Third, I represented my little brother as a ball, because my little brother really loves sports and he is athlete. My brother was the captain ball in soccer during his 3rd and 4th year in high school. He plays very well. Fourth, I represented my little sister as a princess because my sister is very cute and adorable. Fifth, I represented myself as a four-leafed clover, I considered myself lucky because I belong to a joyful and a great family. Lastly, I drew a cross besides the dinner table because we know that God is always with us, He truly loves us and protect us from any harm. I felt a little bit of nervous when sharing my drawing to my group mates because I lack self-confidence. The next one to share their dinner table was Murphy. I learned a lot from Murphy. Murphy’s father died long time ago but they kept on moving forward. Murphy also shared some things about his siblings. I learned that sharing your own stories to other people and listening to their stories too can improve your social interaction and interpersonal skill. The last one to share was Gene. Gene shared to us some things about his life. I listened to their stories very well. I learned that each of us has a different stories in life. I really like this kind of activity, it is very effective on improving one’s self-confidence and interpersonal skill. After the activity, we had a little break and we were given delicious snack and refreshing drinks while talking to new friends. I learned how to make friends and share things about myself.
The next part of the program started, it was all about Personhood. Personhood is the quality or condition of being an individual person. The facilitator asks us if we want to share something about our lives that we keep deep inside our hearts and minds. Some of my classmates shared their problems, experiences, and conflicts. I learned a lot from this session, we should respect each other because we don’t know their real story and their situation. We don’t know what they are experiencing right now and whenever they share about their selves we should help them or inspire them to make things better and help them to solve their problem. Whenever someone will share their experiences, problems or family conflicts we should keep it hidden. This will help us to have a better communication towards our classmates and this a good impact on our Field Trip and Seminar. After the first part of the current session, we are given a picture of a tree with a lot of individuals with different places on the tree. Some of the individuals on the tree are located at the top and others are on the side or at the bottom. They have different kinds of expressions. This explains that each of us has different kinds of personalities. There are people who are enjoying while other people are suffering. Some are smiling and some are frowning. Some of my classmates shared their thoughts and experiences in life. All of us shared what kind of personality we have. I learned that we should be more open in listening to others’ problem or experiences because this helps us to think of more idea to help that person. One of my classmate shared that we could be anyone of the people in the picture because we have different kinds of personality depending on the situation we get into.

We proceeded to the next activity, the most exciting and fun activity. We are grouped by 5-6 members. The next activity is a game and it’s all about team work and team building. After forming a group, we were given a marker pen and a manila paper then instructed us to choose a seeer, runner, and the one who will draw the picture. The mechanics of the game is easy. First, the seeer will be the only one who is allowed to see the picture then he/she is the one who tell the runner what is the drawing on the picture like. After the runner receives the information from the seeer he then tell the doer what to draw and what does the drawing in the hidden picture look like. Our runner keeps on going back to the seeer to get more information and details about the picture so that the doer can draw it more accurately. We really enjoyed playing the team building game. First, we drew some sketches so that we can come up into a better drawing and a better view. After receiving a lot of details and information from the seeer and runner the doer adds up it on the drawing to make it more detailed and more correct. I learned that every one of us has a different perspective about a thing. We should respect ones’ idea. After the activity was finished, each group’s drawing were posted where everyone can see it and our facilitator was looking for a drawing with the closest illustrations of the picture. We all have different perspectives so some of the grouped drew with a different angle or view. We almost won 1st place that game. We won 2nd place and we were so happy for that. I learned that this game improves the teamwork and the communication of each individual/member. I learned that each of us has a different strategy in order to have a better game and how to win the game.

The last part of the program was very serious and solemn, each of us was given a piece of paper and a candle. We were instructed to fill-up or answer all of the questions written on the paper. The questions on the paper was “I should continue what?”, “I should start what?”, and “I should stop what?” this is a commitment. God will always guide us and lead us to a better life. God will never leave us. I committed that I should continue to be a blessing to my classmates, family, relatives, and friends. I should stop doing bad things to my classmates and I should start doing good things towards other people. I learned that committing should be sincere because this will lead us into a better person and an enhanced individual. After we wrote our commitments we stood up and hold each other’s hands. The facilitator lights up the candle one by one and each of us will read our commitment.

I learned so many things from this Team Building Seminar. It is very effective in improving and developing our self-confidence and our interpersonal skill. I learned that acquiring great teamwork will have great products. The learnings we acquired from this program will truly help and guide us on our Fieldtrip and Seminar. All of the activities helped me build confidence and assisted me to become a better person. I learned so many things in this Team Building seminar that is applicable in our incoming Field Trip and Seminar in Manila, this also helped me to have friends and to have a good connection to my new friends in terms on teamwork and social interaction.

Paper 2 (Airplane Ride)

Riding a plane was one of my best experience in this world. When I was still in 2nd year high school, it was my very first time to take a flight, it was very exciting and I felt a little nervous that time because I am afraid of heights. We were heading Cebu that time and I was with my little brother, 2 aunts, and 1 uncle. Every one of us dreams to have a chance to ride an airplane but we don’t have any sufficient money to buy tickets and we don’t know where to go. Our Field trip and Seminar will be on September 7-11, 2015. Our facilitator, Randy S. Gamboa, will be facilitating and guiding us on our Field trip and Seminar. Our Field trip and Seminar is one of the most important and exciting subject on our curriculum because it involves travelling, going to different kinds of IT companies or companies with different kinds of system, technologically, training, team building, and sometimes workshops.

I will be experiencing another plane ride but with my classmates and friends. I was really excited after knowing that we will be having our Field trip and Seminar outside Mindanao, Manila. I expect that this experience will be a fun and exciting experience because I will be travelling together with my friends. Not only fun and exciting but also an educational and memorable experience. Many of us really wants to experience great things in life. I know that every one of us is really excited on having to ride a plane and to enjoy watching the beautiful creations of our God. I expect that all of us will be behaving inside the airplane. I really want to take a plane ride with my family and especially with my love one. Some of the people like business man, a leader of a national or international organization, tourist, rides a plane most of the time because some important matters and to go to a new place where they can relax and enjoy different places in this world. I know that every one of us really wants to travel to a very beautiful place to relax and to release all of the stress from school or from work. We really also want to explore new places and observe their culture and their kind of environment.

This subject can really benefit us in terms of learning how do workers work on a company and all about other things that works inside the company especially machines or systems that can support the company to lessen their effort and save more time. We will be studying and observing different kinds of system and how their system works on their company and what are its impact to the company. This will enable us to gain information for future use in designing, constructing and developing new ideas and innovations. This will allow us to think more possibilities and increases our thinking skills and extend our limit of learning. This will also help us to boost our confidence in facing different kinds of people and when talking about your learnings in front of them.  This activity will also discipline us and make us a better
I expect that all of our papers or documents needed will be secured. I know that some of us, including me, are very clumsy and forgetful. This kind of characteristic should be avoided. These documents are very important especially the ticket because we can’t go back to Davao if our ticket will be lost unless you’ll buy a new one. I am really excited to ride a plane. I expect that all of us will be there, organized. I hope every one of us will be attending and joining on our Field trip and seminar. I expect that all of us will be in the airport 1-2 hours before the time of our flight. I expect that there will be no late comers in order to have no pressures. I am really excited to visit IT companies and study and observe their system. I hope I will be having a sufficient allowance for our Field Trip and Seminar. I expect that all of us will be following the directions and rules, properly, because this will enable us to have a wonderful trip or a fun and exciting plane ride.

I hope no one will be vomiting during our flight. I also experienced to enter on the airplane’s comfort room and it was so clean and classy. I am really glad about this kind of course activity because I am pretty sure that the speakers of the seminars are truly great and amazing. I really want to listen about some helpful tips of being a technopreneur and some inspirational words from the speaker. I also want to listen to their story of how they become great and amazing human.

This kind of activity is a very good example of teaching students to observe and create new, unique and helpful ideas on the different kinds of environment. This will truly help us to become a better person and successful professionals soon. We must climb and reach further to where success is. It encourages us to think of other business ideas which can help us soon. This is also a good opportunity to build and strengthen a team because the more the merrier and more ideas. More ideas, it helps us to think what’s best. We, students from this subject, will surely gain a lot of knowledge and ideas. This is also a good way to generate our limitless imagination and inspiration. This is not just a Field Trip and Seminars. We are also given time to go to places where happiness and fun are located like Enchanted kingdom. We will be given an unlimited ride in enchanted kingdom. I am very excited to try and enjoy all fun rides with my classmates and friends. We are also given time for shopping and malls. I wish my allowance will be enough for me to buy something, a remembrance, I would like to make this fun and learning activity memorable.

I know that God will guide us wherever we go. He’s always there for us. He gives us strength, knowledge, wisdom, and etc. to make every single day more happy and productive. I know that he will never leave us. I expect that I may learn a lot from this Field trip and Seminar especially for the incoming experiences. Every one of us needs a break, to relax and to go for an adventure. I am also excited about this trip because I will be having our field trip and seminar together with my friends and my classmates. Each of us are very excited to have this amazing trip. I hope and I pray that we will be safe wherever we will go and we will be enjoying every single moment. This is also the time where we can escape from school works and examinations because of this educational getaway. Even the facilitator they also need to take a break because we all know that the work of a facilitator is very stressful. At first, I was very nervous on taking my first flight because I don’t know what will happen and I saw a lot of plane crashes on the TV. I am not afraid because I know that God is guiding us always and he keeps us always from accidents and dangers. I felt so frightened and scared when I experience my first flight. It’s hard to know what to expect, and even the smallest occurrence can be stressful and confusing. I had many fears about the flight journey like phobia about takeoff and landing. I was told by my aunt not to think too much about it.

According to Shallowharold, Fear of flying is a fear of being on an airplane (aero plane), or other flying vehicles, such as helicopters, while in flight. It is also stated to as flying phobia, flight phobia, aviophobia, or aerophobia (although the last also means a fear of drafts or of fresh air). Fear of flying may be a distinct in phobia itself, or it may be an indirect combination if one or more other conditions, such as claustrophobia, a phobia of being restricted, confined, or unable to escape, or acrophobia, anxiety or fear of being at a great height. It may have other causes well, such as agoraphobia, especially the type that has to do with having a panic attack in a place they can’t escape from. It is a symptom rather than a disease, and different causes may bring it about in different individuals. The phobia receives more attention than most other phobias because air travel is often difficult for people to avoid – especially in professional contexts – and because it is common, affecting a significant minority of the population. Inability to maintain emotional control when aloft may prevent a person from going on vacations or visiting family and friends, and it can cripple the career of a business person by preventing them from travelling on work-related businesses.

According to Martin N. Seif, PhD, ABPP, Overcoming a fear of flying takes a lot of bravery and exercise. But it is possible with appropriate treatment. I never flew until I was almost 30 years old, and getting over my own fright of flying was one of the most difficult achievement of my life. If you can successfully identify the triggers that produce your nervousness, you’ve taken the first step. It’s very important to note that fear of flying is not a single phobia. Most people who fear flying are claustrophobic, or frightened of being locked in the plane and unable to choose when to get off. A phobia is an intense fear that is out of proportion to the danger, which is particularly relevant to fears of flying. Most “flight Phobics” agree that flying is safe, yet frightening. They have heard time reconciling their fear with safety statistics. Although we know our phobias are not logical, we cannot reason ourselves out of one.

Educations helps calm anxiety, too: how a plane flies, facts about turbulence, and the meaning of the various sounds and bumps during a normal flight. Virtual reality programs, during which fearful flies are exposed to computer simulations or flight triggers, are also helpful. So, too, are the flight simulators that are ordinarily used to teach private pilots how to fly small planes.

In order to have an enjoyable flight I searched some tips on the internet just to have some knowledge in enjoying our flight. I am really excited for our field trip and seminar this upcoming September. I am so motivated to explore new things and to experience new environment. Learning new things are such a wonderful experience because whenever I want to learn new things I am very curious about it and I want to enjoy learning about it. God is with us always, I pray that every one of us will be staying healthy and physically fit so that all of us, my classmates, will be joining the field trip and seminar together. I hope that all of us are well-prepared on the day of our flight.

Leonardo Da Vinci said, “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”

We are going to another place in this world to explore new, wonderful, and exciting things. To expand our knowledge about our course and to make us think more deeply about different kinds of systems and how the system does works. This is a very important event for us and a dream come true for us to visit big IT companies. We will be learning new things and some important tips from the seminars. I know that each of my classmates are ready to take their first/next flight and I know that some of them are already preparing. This Field trip and Seminar is very expensive for us but we all know that the experiences and learnings we’re getting from this event will lead us to become a successful IT professional or a successful Technopreneur.

FTS Model A

Our class will be having our Field trip and Seminar this upcoming September. But first, we are all needed to choose our preferred model for our Field trip and Seminar. We are also required to pass all the requirements for this activity. The entire class will decide what model will they select and the majority will be chosen as the model for this curricular activity. One of the most important requirement is the Parent’s Consent because this is the approval of the parents if they want to let their son/daughter join the Field trip and seminar, as a part of our course activity. Medical certificate is also important because this will help us to know if our health status is allowed to travel or not. There are three options or models to choose from to our location for our Field Trip and Seminar. These are Model A, Model B, and Model C. First, Model A, the location of our Field Trip and Seminar will be one (1) outside Mindanao + one (1) minor field trip inside the Mindanao + one (1) seminar (national) + two (2) hours of Interpersonal Skill. Second, Model B, the location of our Field trip and Seminar will be outside Mindanao (Major Field Trip) + two (2) minor field trips in Mindanao + two (2) hours of Interpersonal Skill. And lastly, Model C, the location of our Field trip and Seminar will be only inside the Mindanao (3 minor field trips) + four (4) seminars (16 hours) Mindanao + two (2) hours of Interpersonal skill. Field Trip and Seminar is an activity where we will be going to different schools and companies that can really help us learn more about things that are connected to our course, BSIT.

We will attend different kinds of seminars about Technologies. This activity will also discipline us and make us a better This is not just a Field Trip and Seminars. I am very excited to try and enjoy all fun rides with my classmates and friends. We are also given time for shopping and malls. I wish my allowance will be enough for me to buy something, a remembrance, I would like to make this fun and learning activity memorable. I Chose Model A. The reason why I chose model A, out of the three models, I chose to have a field trip outside Mindanao, Manila, because Manila has many big popular companies and popular schools as well. Model A giving us a bigger and wider area of opportunities to know and to learn about more ideas that can really help our industry and our society to become a lot better than today. It also brings us into a new kind of environment where we can see new things, a lot of beautiful sights, and buildings. It gives us time to explore and enjoy the city of Manila. It also helps us to have a break from pressure coming from school like exams, and all other school works. We can gain a lot of learning connected to our program and at the same time we are enjoying. Sometimes, a lot of school works are very hard to handle and it causes us a lot of pressure. This will be a great help to us to escape from it for just a short period, at least. Model A have come very expensive but then again I truly believe that this informative trip is necessary and will be worthy of each peso I have paid. This model is very expensive but all of the amazing experiences and great learnings are priceless and this will guide us to become a successful individual soon. I will be experiencing new things and new knowledge. My parents understands the advantages of this model and they also know that this is the best of all the three models. It would be the best to have it on a place where we can treat ourselves in a more advance and wider area of chances. I am really excited about this kind of course activity because I am pretty sure that the speakers of the seminars are truly great and amazing. I really want to listen about some helpful tips of being a technopreneur and some inspirational words from the speaker.
